So the MB ram memory reference chart lists this part number as compatible:
CORSAIR CMK16GX4M4B3000C15 4 16G 3000 15-17-17-35 1.35V 2+4 1.02

This is the 4 stick kit. I have the 2 stick kit using 8G each with the same memory. CMK16GX4M2B3000C15. I did not find that on the list. I cannot get XMP1 profile to post. I am getting the same XMP issues as Dark Trooper and his GSkill ram. Difference he is trying to get 3600 and I am only trying to get 3000 to run. The XMP profile timings listed are exactly the same as the 4 stick kit listed above. I have a trouble ticket started with Corsair. Not sure why XMP profiles are not working on this board, should be plug n play on Z chip sets. I tried the latest 1.07 bios with no help. Anyone see why a 2 stick kit would not be compatible using the same type memory? I also saw there were 2 stick kits at 3200 that were on the list from Corsair.

Do you also have issues when setting the ram up manually?

Yes, it's the same. I can get 2 places higher than 2133, but that is it.

Well I bought another set that will be here tomorrow. I have an RMA issued from Corsair. I will use the new ones while sending the others for exchange so my system stays up. If the new ones run properly, I'm hoping to have 32 gig total when I get the exchange set back.

Well the new set changed nothing, so I'm pretty sure the ones I mailed off today are not bad. I called EVGA tech support and talked to a David. He asked the usual questions and suggested a bios update, which I informed him I already have the latest. So he took down the part number of the ram and put me on hold. When he returned he said the Corsair ram that was tested with the board was the 4 stick kit and not the 2 stick kit I bought; that ram was not even out at that time. He said no further testing for compatible ram will be done.  It's done only at the time the board is released. I find it unbelievable that a memory controller can address four separate memory devices faster than just two. If it is able to address a pair at a time in parallel, then maybe it could be faster. I will get the original set back in a week and try all 4 and see what happens.

On another note: I relaxed the timings a bit 16-16-16 and volts at 3.55 and it booted at 2400. Still a long ways from 3000, but progress.

So good news! This ram works if you have 4 sticks installed. Don't know why only 2 sticks won't boot in XMP1 settings, but 4 sticks at 32G total works fine. Not only that, it's running a 1T command rate.

So who can explain why 4 sticks will run at XMP settings no matter if they are 4 gig or 6 gig each, but 1 will not? Get as technical in you explanation as you want, you won't lose me.

So the XMP reads incorrectly on these chips. I am back to manually setting timings. I cannot find where to set tRP? Looking at Eleet I don't see it listed either, yet i see it in CPUz.

I have been playing with settings and I can tell you tRDC & tRP are tied together n the bios. That's not right. EVGA needs to fix this problem. I only dropped tRCD here to 16 and tRP followed without me setting anything else.

Well I may not be at 3000 speed, but running 14-14-14-34 @ 2400 not too shabby. Also I lowered the voltage, not raise it.

So does this mean I can wait for an answer in this thread, or do I have to wait for the next bios update?

I still cant get my memory to work beyond the auto setting no matter what I try. I'm RMA'ing it soon, but I'm afraid it might actually be the board.
