Will any of the EVGA 2060 models fit a Hadron Air case?

Hi,

I currently have a great build with a Hadron Air case, I like to have small form factor cases since the space in my desk is very reduced. My current one has an EVGA GTX 1060 which fits just fine, however I'm passing this build to my younger brother and building a new one.

I will build this new one with the same case, the Hadron Air because it sits just fine in the area which is around 7.5" so the case being 6.6" fits perfectly, I want to use a newer card of course, but this case says:

Supports Graphics Card 10.5in - 267mm

However the small factor 2060, 2070, etc. from EVGA require 3 slots so they won't fit, and the larger, 2 slot measures the following:

Length: 10.55in - 267.97mm

So given that the case says it will fit 10.5in / 267mm but the 2-slot cards from EVGA are .5in/.97mm longer am not sure if they will actually fit.

I really want to go EVGA on the case, motherboard and videocard since I've always had nothing but good performance, cooling and noise combination with the brand but if it doesn't fit I guess I will have to go with another brand. a 2-slot, two-fan, 8.3in version which I think would fit perfectly but I rather have an EVGA.

The other thing is that the included PSU is 500w and that is the minimum required for most of these newer RTX 20xx gen cards. My current 1060 is rated at 120w and I think these new ones are 160w. I wonder if I can still get away with the Hadron Air with the newer card?

This would be the full build spec:

  • EVGA Hadron Air Mini-ITX case (500w 80 gold PSU included)
  • EVGA H370 Stinger Motherboard
  • Intel Core i7-8700K processor
  • Noctua NH-D9L cooler
  • Corsair LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4
  • Samsung 960 EVO 500GB m.2 NVMe
  • EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC Ultra GAMING (or the Zotac)

Thanks for any advice!

    Hello,

You should look at all the 2 slot cards it still fit like for reference PN: 06G-P4-2167-KR. It would be recommended to use a single 2 slot card if possible.

    Hello gusrub!

I am facing the same issue as my gpu (currently gtx 1060 6gb blower style) has just given up and needs replacing.

What gpu did you get in the end?

Is the dimensions an exact fit as they state it houses a 267mm card, or maybe you can get a slightly bigger card in if you move a few cables.
