Hey Everyone - just got this card today to try out...

Quick question on using it with Tidal. Does this card support their "Master" sound codec? Or am I better off using the HiFi setting. Upon listening the "Master" setting sounds flat.

Next question - when using Tidal under the Streaming Settings if i set "use exclusive mode" do I need to adjust the settings in the software? Should I be using these settings? Do I need to match the bitrate in the setting software? Also, should I use the force volume setting?

So far I am really enjoying the sound output on my Fostex cans and Kef Egg's.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Sorry, but, the NU Audio Card does not support MQA.

Is MQA support on the roadmap?

Currently no.  I would probably say unlikely overall.

I think MQA is a waste of space and Hype. FLAC or 320-512 bitrate MP3 down sampled from that MASTER will sound indistinguishable from the same Master itself. I really like the Tidal and I do stream the Masters.
