Hello Everyone!
For advance, sorry for my English, I'm Hungarian and I'm not using it very often, but I will try to describe my problem hopefully understandable.
Couple of days ago I sent a message to EVGA customer service with a request for a set of new fans for my card. I'm posting the mail down here.
"I got my EVGA GTX 1080 TI FTW3 video card for around one and a half year now, I'm very satisfied with it, doing it's best so far. A couple of days ago I was starting to hear unwanted noises from the card's fans. I think it is clearly loose bearings sound, it makes rattling, jingling sounds. I removed it from the motherboard and spinning the fans with fingers. The middle one over the GPU is the loose one, it's spinning a lot more easily than in the beginning when the card was new, the one in the right above the power section is tighter, it's spinning like something is holding it back, and the left fan is running like as it should, but in case that the other two are loosing conditions, I don't know how long.
So because I don't want the card to become damaged I'm asking you for help. Is there any possibility to replace the damaged fans or the complete cooler without sending the card back to you? My card's tuning potential is very good, the GPU can reach above 2100Mhz, so I don't want the card to be replaced by RMA (also shipping costs are high here in Hungary) but of course it's warranty is valid.
The card's serial number is: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I'm interested in any kind of solution. - sending 3 new fans for the card and I will replace them, (cheapest and fastest I think) - sending a complete new cooler for the card and I send back the defective one, (not cheap, but I can keep my current card) - sending a complete new cooler and I pay for it, (also not cheap, but I can keep my current card) - any other solution what you can offer.
I hope everything is going to be fine and we will find the cheapest and fastest outcome! Thank you for your efforts and answer!"
After the mail the guy at the customer service was asking for the registration of the product, and the uploaded image of the invoice. I've done it since then, and I received an RMA ticket number from him, but he is asking for the card to send it to the company for analyzing it and he said they will send me a replacement card for the time of checking mine.
My problems are: I need only a new set of fans. I don't want to send the card anywhere because of the shipping costs, because of the Hungarian express services are not too trustworthy. How can I manage EVGA to send me only the new set of fans for my card? I'm willing to pay for it also.
Thanks for anybody's reply!

EVGA doesn't just replace the fans. They will only exchange the card for another card. If you want to have the fans only replaced the best solution would be to do a cross ship rma, and just swap the coolers on the cards.

Pull the card on place it on its back on a flat piece of cardboard.
Push down on the fan and release about 5 times.. that will help re aline the fan barings.

Hey! Above answers are correct and it might also be possible to add mineral oil inside the fan bearing to lubricate. This might solve the problem as well. Something like that: (couldn't find a video with an evga card on yt but it should be similar)

EVGA wont allow part to be shipped to you unless they inspect the card. Your options can be sent the card to them and have them fix it or tried to lubricate them like suggedted above. They are fairly easy to do and cost effective as well

RMA is the correct procedure to resolve a problem that is within warranty time of the EVGA product. Hungary is part of the EU so there are no customs or duties to worry about if the item was purchased from a legitimate dealer.

I just disassembled fans on my card and clean them from all dust, clean with alcohol and dip small amount of oil on bearing. Assembled back and it's working nice. But it's me and warranty on my card is expired. If people here are interested i may post photos how to disassembly 1080 Ti fans. It's not difficult, but i don't want to mess with administration. :)
