Quick question for those of you that have yours out of the box already. Could someone tell me the measurements of the radiator, in particular how thick is it? I am trying to decide which case I am going to use and dont want to open mine until I have everything ready to go. Thanks.

It is a Standard 240 Radiator Size.
240mm Radiator with 30mm thickness and about 270mm or 10 5/8 Inches Long.
I had to remove mine to get the length.

The bigger the case the better air flow usually ;)

Dont shy away from the biggest case you can afford but remember you'll have to buy fans for all those holes! Haha

What cases are you looking at?

I’m actually looking at downgrading case sizes. My current build is in a Phantek Enthoo Elite which was my “beginners” water cooling case with all of its great features. I originally planned to use a CaseLabs SMA8 as I was trying to emulate Skunkworks but that case was way beyond my capabilities. In fact, that one is still sitting assembled but unused in the back of my walk-in closet. The one I am really favoring is the Fractal Define R6. It’s big enough to handle an EATX mobo yet small enough to free up some desperately needed space in my office.

I am moving mine from the   Thermaltake Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition SPCC ATX Full Tower Tt LCS Certified Gaming Computer Case CA-1F8-00M1WN-02
    to the
Thermaltake Core W100 Extreme Water Cooling XL-ATX Fully Modular/Dismantle Stackable Tt LCS Certified Super Tower Computer Case CA-1F2-00F1WN-00
    so I am upsizing.

I bought one of those w100 years ago for some crazy idea I had at the time to lay it on its side with a large rad on both ends.

Put the frame together and realized it was way too deep to fit on my modded old school entertainment stand that I use to hold heavy PC's.:/ would of been cool though with the mb in the horizontal possition and everything on display.

    Great choice.

Just plan out what you'll be throwing in it.  240mm rads should easily fit in that case let alone in most cases by now.

Are you looking to add the CPU to an AIO as well?  I think you'd still have room regardless.
