On top of that, the display support FreeSync 2 HDR and the has DisplayHDR 1000 certification, both of which are good signs for gamers and viewers of other HDR content. The screen itself is 49 inches in size, offering a 1,800mm screen curvature, making the screen ideal for both office use and by gamers (an ultra-wide 49-inch flat panel would not be comfortable to look at). Input-wise the screen offers two DisplayPort 1.4 connections as well as a single HDMI port. USB 3.0 and headphone connectivity options are also available. At Overclockers UK, the Samsung C49RG90SSU is available to pre-order for £1249.99. At this time it is unknown when pre-orders will be fulfilled. That is a lot of cash, but I guess if you are an extreme gamer then it doesn't matter.

Very nice monitor indeed, but the price? is a bit much.
T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. I could see myself gaming on one of these when the price comes down. @atfrico AOC & Asus have similar offerings coming but no price yet. Samsung is always a bit on the high end of things in terms of price. For sure 21:9/ultrawide is in my future.

Thanks for the info Abishai  As long as the price can stay and hover in the 1k, i will be interested. I might even put this wide monitor up the wall.

I suspect that even a RTX Titan would be hard pressed with that panel.

I'm looking to get a new panel but this might be to big. I have a big L shape desk and I'll need something curved to fit the corner where I have everything set up.

I would have to agree but I feel in two graphics card generations it will be something that the price will have came down a lot and the graphics card to run it won’t be as extreme.

Normally you don’t see a product like this drop that much. Often it’s lost other features along the way. It’s more then just the panel that makes it so great.

If the features and quality are as good as they sound, that price isn't bad, considering you pay US$800 for a good 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor.
