When under load gaming "Elite Dangerous" after 2 hours or so fans at 100% water temps are 25oC ~ 26oC CPU and GPU are 33oC~ 35oC.  At idle fans 40% water is 21oC ~ 22oC CPU and GPU are 22oC ~ 23oC.  Ambient air temperature is 20.5oC. Is this about the best I can expect?  Are those good numbers?  Thanks in advance.

Temps look great to me. I would be happy with that. Your thread will probably be moved to the Overclocking /cooling section. You should make a Mods rig post, with some more pics and a 3dmark score. Nice build.

Thanks! Its my first attempt a a custom loop.  I even modded the case for more airflow.  Even at 100% those fans are really quite.

Love that set-up, looks like fun! You did quite well on the loop set-up. This deserves a Mods rig posting. :)

They do but not quite enough, so I added a little extra to the seat.

If you don't mind me asking, what are the spacers that you have on 5 of the 6 fans?

They are 3d printed shrouds I picked up from shapeways.  I could not fit the third one due to space above my reservoir.  They are very tapered on the inside.

What are these intended to do? Is this to help cooling? I've not seen these before.

The help give the fan center motor hub a little more space from the fins of the radiator.  In doing so the fan uses the full radiator fin area.  So in theory they make everything more efficient.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I bought the logic but don't have any idea if they do anything. LOL  YMMV

Nice build, here yet I would of gone for an AMD Threadripper 2950X or just waited for the new Ryzen 3000 series, they have more cores, better IPC and much better for flight sims in the end.
Flight Sims prefer more cores than just a few more Ghz, which is why I use Dual 12 Core Opterons for such purposes.

Plus the TR 2950X is a much better CPU for more headroom for that RTX 2080 Ti as well, or the newer Ryzen 9 3000 series likewise.
Other than that nice build tho :)

Xplane, fsx and p3d prefer raw core speed and are not heavily threaded. 3000 series processors are not available to consumers nor is there any performance metrics in flight sims, 9900k has better ipc than a 2950x..

Nice, if you remove rubber from Noctua fans on bottom, anyway you don't need them, they will look even better.
Noctua presented black NF-A12x25 PWM. But I'm not completely happy with look.
They shouldn't paint metal part in middle and much better would be Dark Grey-Light Grey combo.
To bad because they didn't take a look how NF-A12x25 PWM look in Redux color scheme I think they would build them rather then full black.

During 2019 I will switch to Heatkiller 100 D5 and maybe even D5 Next as your.
Look fantastic, only I need to see how to mount them best. Do you have more pictures.
How you mount Heatkiller D5 100???

Is it possible that D5 Next hold whole reservoir?
Black fittings are nice as well, but chrome-nickel-silver looked me more useful to throw them in hot water full of chemicals and clean them with tooth brush after some time of use. I afraid some of Black fittings will scratch easier?

Yes I wish the fans were in the black or gray color that is what I wanted but the performance of the fans is phenomenal so I just deal with the ugly color LOL.  The Heatkiller is mounted to the back of the case with 2 screws and the D5 next is also mounted with another 2 screws.  The pump mount could not hold the pump and reservoir on its own.

I have NF-A12x25 PWM as well.
Yes performance are so good that color don't bother me at all.
To be honest I would not change mine for black version.

Here is black version... I will not change mine for this or even buy three new black because I need 3 more, I have 3.
They are made from some other material and that can't look black clean completely as fans near.

Yes Thrustmaster HOTAS and Saitek pedals.  Combat in Elite Dangerous is pretty fun in VR .  That has what I have been doing lately trying to achieve Elite.  Going to take a while though.  DCS and Elite are about all I do on it for fun.
