hi, i built my PC maybe 4-5 years ago, and it's worked perfectly ever since, until very recently I have started having horrible freezing and crashing.
I tried updating drivers, couldn't find any updates, and the errors shown when BSOD were ... error machine_check_exception and another ASUS screen telling me that the ASUS AI automatically shut down my PC to protect from unstable power supply.
Yes, two different sorts of crashes, both surely caused by my EVGA power supply - an 850 G2. I surely should have taken the words, 'made in China' more seriously.

Anyway, I am new to this website and I cannot figure out how to begin the return process, find out if I'm still covered by warranty, or whether I should get an entirely new model so that my PC doesn't sustain any further damage due to this broken part, and parts like it.
I am terribly stressed out and am not very good at understanding PC lingo.

Hello swagalina! I see that an RMA request has been submitted and approved. You should have received two automated RMA e-mails with further instructions on how and where to ship your power supply to us. You will want to keep all cables and send only the PSU unit itself. Please be sure to read those e-mails carefully and follow all instructions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at anytime at 1-888-881-3842 or e-mail support@evga.com.

All PSUs (and the vast majority of computer parts) are made in China.
