I'm building a Z390 Dark rig.  If I watercool do I need to watercool other than the CPU, i.e. southbridge?

Mobo...EVGA Z390 Dark    CPU...I9 9900K . GPU...EVGA GTX 2080 Ti .  RAM...Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32 GB 3200MHz    SSD...Samsung V-NAND SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2 2x2TB
PSU...Silverstone Strider 1500W   Case...CoolerMaster HAF   CPU waterblock...

    You do not have to cool the south bridge. The south bridge does not get that hot. Many waterblock manufacturers like EKWB only cool the VRM and the CPU, and then have a passive heatsink on the chipset.

    CPU is all you need to do. The stock heatsinks on the other components are more than sufficient.

    No. I'm guessing you're gonna water cool the gpu's though along with the cpu right?

    No you do Not Need to cool the chipset with water on the MB

    Just make sure to provide air movement across the MB to cool everything
