The CPU apps have been optimized and the v3 ones are now 10x faster than before. It's not clear if the points will reflect this or be adjusted down to be consistent with v2.

Now the GPU apps are only 2-3x as fast as the CPU. Optimized GPU apps will likely be coming within weeks.

    This is bad
    So the new plan is as follows:
    1.  Deploy new cpu executables.  Since it's 10x faster, I will need to drop the credit by a factor of 10. (Credits/hour will remain the same for the cpu but will obviously drop for the GPU)
     
    Most other Projects do not reduce the credit when they optimize the App.
    And example would be RakeSearch we have a faster App but we kept the same points.
    Also other Projects that add GPU gives you the Higher Credit why NumberFields@home is not is kind of sad.

    I agree with bcavnaugh!
     
    My understanding is; you are not going to see any credit increase running gpu. You will actually get less and the CPU will not change. Am I reading this correctly?

    Version 3 (CPU) drop from 2-3 Hours Run Time Down to Less Than 12-19 Minutes.
    Runs Well on my Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2667 v4 @ 3.20GHz [Family 6 Model 79 Stepping 1] Processors

    Strange numbers from this project today. Is GPU that throwing things off? I’m not getting any.(Win or Linux)
