https://www.dsogaming.com/news/borderlands-3-will-be-timed-exclusive-to-the-epic-games-store-collaboration-with-amd-confirmed/ Gearbox today announced that Borderlands 3, the hit sequel to one of the first loot-shooters, will indeed be releasing on September 13th for all platforms - but will be distributed exclusively on the PC digital platform via the EPIC Games Store. Other storefronts will have to wait until April 2020 to sell copies of the game. The game will also feature optimized performance for AMD's CPU and GPU portfolio, with AMD aiding in performance optimizations for its Ryzen CPUs, current GPUs and, expectedly, next-generation Navi. Should be a fun and enjoyable game

Looks like I'll be waiting a year for it to come out elsewhere then...
Maybe there will be a GOTY edition, DLC's and all bugs fixed by then for a cheaper price.....

Really hate seeing this since Gearbox made it big in the industry with the Addon Blueshift to Valves Half-Life. You would expect that to earn some loyalty to Steam.

Really hate seeing this since Gearbox made it big in the industry with the Addon Blueshift to Valves Half-Life. You would expect that to earn some loyalty to Steam.
Their only loyalty is to "Federal Green" …. I won't be getting it until next year either . They should release the Luxy's DLC for the Pre-Sequel , but we know that won't happen either ...

Until Steam reduces their royalty rates, it's unlikely that publishers will come back anytime soon. Steam is a brutal tax for developers and publishers to pay.

I'll buy it. I am pretty much done with Steam at this point. Steam is a crap hole nowadays and their staff don't seem to really care.
EDIT: I appreciate that all the quality games can be on other game clients and all the crap on Steam... That will work just fine. Keep all the garbage on Steam and move all the quality elsewhere.
