Hi all, just came across this: 
"This special Universal version was modified by Daniel Kawakami (daniel_k) from the creative forums  to work on all sound cards "
 
I want to replace my AE-5 because I read reviews that the NU Audio card does sound better. I haven't tried that Alchemy hack yet but, maybe someone else here who has the card and some older games can see if it works? :)
 
I see links are not supported but, if you Google:  Creative ALchemy Universal it's the first hit on the page.

    Well, no one yet it seems. I guess I will be the first one to try it once I buy the NU card, won't be until a few weeks though until I sell my AE-5 :D
