    According to CEO Yves Guillemot, the game will hit stores on October 30th. Guillemot revealed that the game has been in development for three years and that "what we have seen is just fabulous."

    the insane part is they want to charge another $ 40  to people for this.....

    I think that they want too much for the game. Starcraft got remasterd and came out at $15 Warcraft remasterd will be $29. Really I think $29 is the most a remasterd game should be. When you get to $40 I am looking at games that are a few months old not games that have 2012 mechanics.

    It should be free for all previous owners  &   $40  for new buyers ....... 
     
    I've bought, played, & beat every Creed game made . I'm not paying Ubi another dime for a remaster edition.

    I logged into UPlay and it is $39.99.  I have the entire Assassin's Creed series and they still want more than I probably paid for the original AC3.  Don't know why anyone would want to lie about this.

    oh maybe that's it i did get odyssey also, but bobmitch said he has all of them also maybe you had to get the game on uplay i didn't use steam

    I believe somewhere it is mentioned that if you buy the Odyssey 'season pass' ->   that AC3 remaster will come free with that also......

    for some reason yes i liked odyssey and orgin's and got the season pass, but i didn't like ac3 only played it for about an hour.
    wish you could give games you never going to play away i got a code for metro exodus that i can't give away also.

    I remember that if you owned all the Bioshock series I, II and Infinite...you got the remasters if I and II for free!  How cheap is Ubisoft?

    Takes a lot more to remaster games now days and dev want to get paid for work
    why should it be free? They had an offer to get it for free you didn't get it so pay for it.
