Hello Games has confirmed that No Man's Sky is getting support for VR on both PlayStation 4 and PC, shipping as part of the game's free Beyond update, which will release in summer 2019. The release of No Man's Sky's VR mode will be simultaneous on both PlayStation and SteamVR, giving players on both platforms access to the game's VR capabilities without a period of exclusivity on either platform. No Man's Sky's VR update will be free to existing players and is set to release in Summer 2019.

    Really surprised that this game is getting this level of after launch support. It was a deeply flawed game at launch that you kind of figure would be quickly abandoned instead of getting years of support.

    They're learning from their mistakes I guess. From what I understand the game has changed so much that it's nothing like how it was at launch.

    Still wouldn't buy it... no excuse after the launch, nothing can bring me back to that.
     
    Instead, Imperium, Space engineers will be my scratch for that itch.
