Hello, I have the 2080 Ti FTW3 on air and am looking to get the Hybrid kit for lower temps and to keep Intel's GPU Boost 3.0 algorithm from reducing clock during gaming. Yes, I am getting great numbers and temps; 2085-2115 mhz @ 50-low/mid 60s on gpu.  Ram gets as much as high 70s. During gaming, the difference between gpu temp and ram temp is about 10-15 degrees more. I know the ram is good up until 95, but clock gets reduced, and I would like to see it lower anyhow.

Clock drops a bit when reaching into the 60s for the gpu temp/75 for the mem. This is what I hope to reduce with the hybrid kit.

My main concern is how the ram temps are. Hybrid owners, what are your max ram temps during gaming? Please post your other numbers such as gpu temp and mhz clock. I just want to have a good idea if the ram temps will improve.

RAM is cooled with the Hybrid Kit - that base plate covers the RAM & contacts the GPU heatsink / pump

Higher mem temps don't cause clock drops. Only higher core temps cause clock drops.

I have the FTW3 Hybrid.  If you are already in the 50-60 range, the Hybrid kit will not bring it down more than that.  I can hold 2070 MHz for hours @ 57-60 degrees playing Anthem (1440p Ultra) with the radiator fan spinning @ 2000 rpms, mem(2,3) is 72-75 degrees.

has an OP with the G12 kit under 50c during benches.  Sorry, wont let me post links.

I have push/pull config with the FTW3 hybrid kit (2x nf a12x25) and if I put them to max speed (2k rpm) I get 65C on hottest memory (mem2) and mem3 and gpu2 (thats mem1 basically) is 62C and 64C, while the GPU is enjoying nice 51-53C depending on game and load (23C room).

Yes I noticed they are cooled by heatsink and fan,. but my question is, will temps be be better than the stock fan and heatsink? Given the ram heatsink is exclusive to it.

What is your OC settings? like power limit and max clock, and memory clock

Power limit is max (124%), 99% usage so around 350-370W under full load, +1000mhz on memory, +120mhz on core which goes up to 2115mhz core, drops to 2085-2100 because the +100 voltage works at those temps usually.

Also something I have to tell anyone getting or thinking about the hybrid kit: there might be pump noise, anywhere from barely audible/none to very audible and needing replacement. I got an audible but not too bothersome one (can't be heard when I start gaming and fans ramp up to 70%, still quieter than default fan curve of the ftw3 air cooler)
