Hi - I've had a look around for an answer on this, so apologies!

I've just upgraded from MSI 1060 to an EVGA 2070 XC Ultra card. Do I need to use the precision X1 software to set up fans or can I just leave the card to do it's own thing? I can hear the fans start every so often if i dont have X1 installed - just checking - don't want my card to melt!!! :)

Any help or advice much appreciated!

    Welcome to the Forum
The Fans Come on by default when needed.
You can install PX1 and set the Fans to run at 40% and then exit.
Or you can set a Fan Profile and Leave PX1 running in the background.

You can just let it do it's own thing. Precision isn't required.

Thanks for the responses both - I'll get rid - quite happy to let the card do it's own thing....!
