I used Thermal grizzly rated 8.5 em/k thermal conductivity saw a 3-4c difference on my 2080ti ultra. Also have gelid extreme on my cpu been 5 years of OCing still runs cool with an AIO. Gelid has the same thermal conductivity rating but some how posts and YouTube comparisons swear by thermal grizzly by a “1c” difference...

decided to switch back to MX4 after giving kryonaut a shot.  Idle temps at 5.1 ghz went from 35C back down to 29C. Which is what it was before the change.  Not bad for a 6 year old tube of MX4.  Application was a single pea sized portion in the middle of the CPU.

Test performed after CPU and loop temps were up for a few hours.

I used NT-H1 Long time. Last 2 years I used 2-3 times MX-4.
But if someone want to order now I would use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

But I must warn, If someone say Kryonaut gave me 10C lower temperatures than MX-4
and other say it's only 1C difference I would believe to guy who say 1C difference.

Important things are under IHS, and best temperatures could be reach with CPU Guard and installation block directly to die.
If someone remove IHS I don't see reason to install him again, that's moment when some people ruin whole work.
CPU Guard and tight CPU Cooler with fingers, just to touch die.

MX-4 is just so easy to use and works so well.  I don't even bother using anything else anymore.
