Hey Guys.

I just got the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 750W to replace the old PSU I had been using.

I recently completed a new build and the PSU I had bought didn't work (coolermaster v750) so I have been using my original semi modular Corsair PSU that was part of the original parts list. I changed it out today for the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 750W and there is no activity when I supply power.

I know this could be a number of things but wanted to ask what the best way to rule out the PSU is as this will be the second one that does not work so that points me to this being some other issue. I still have the EVGA PSU installed and everything is cabled up. I didn't want to remove it for now but am prepared to strip everything down to run tests.

Any help appreciated.

Build Details:

PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 750W
Motherboard - MB ASRock B450M Pro4 AM4 M-ATX
CPU - Ryzen 5 2600X
RAM - Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2400C16
GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti SC GAMING ACX 3.0

See if the psu will power a few fans after jumping the psu with the jumper/tester that is included with it.
