I would love to upgrade to an RTX 2080 ti but I think I'm kinda stuck on a decision.

I'm thinking of either the 2080 ti black or the 2080 ti XC gaming as my case is the Phanteks enthoo shift X with a Ryzen 2700x CPU will upgrade to Ryzen 3000 when they are released. I'm just wondering which one would be better for pushing the card to the max? I can't have a 3 slot card as my case can barely fit the Asus GTX 1070 ti as it is and that card is 2.5 slot. I also have a 1440p monitor rated at 144 Hz. Acer predator.

Right now I have the EVGA 650 G3 but will upgrade in the future if Overclocking pushes this unit to the extream but I figure 105w TDP CPU 250w tdp GPU which is about 400w to about 500w give or take I'm keeping the CPU at stock because that way there I get the 4.3GHz max boost in games. I do have the Corsair 115i Pro with noctua 3000RPM fans.

I'd search reviews and articles on the internet. See if there is a reason to spend more than $950 on the 11G-P4-2281-KR. Unless ur rich of course and don't care. lol

Get a 11G-P4-2281-KR. Then purchase the Extended Ten year Warranty for it- in order to support all the greatness that EVGA is; and also because if there was ever a card to get a 10 year warranty on is is the 2080-ti.

The remaining savings (if u go with a 11G-P4-2281-KR) can go towards a new PSU. Because the one u have isn't powerful enough; and like u suggested u wanted another one. More room to OC.

That's what I'm doing with my 1070 ti right now but it only gets about 2 mill points a month and need more HP for an ITX system. Also I'm thinking of starting a YT channel and do my own reviews someday. ;) Also dose any one know if the XC card has samsung memory or micron? I herd that some micron memory chips are bad in the RTX 20 series cards.

There's going to be an improvement to ur PC's performance!

While waiting for my 2080-ti(s) I liked to imagine how much better, than the best of each, of the previous five or more generations they are.
