When they are ready, EVGA will announce it. these aren’t masses produced because there is a LOT going into them and Vince and T|n want them to be the most capable card they can be.

So, waiting is going to happen until they are ready.

Pre-Orders would just add another step in the process, making the already painful wait even longer; or at least making it seem longer.

I thought you dumped the idea of getting this Card and going with a Galax HOF or an RTX-Titan?

Had a feeling it wouldn't come out this month... that sucks. It could be close to May by the time KPE's make it to market. I don't think I can hold out that long; I think a Galax HOF or an RTX-Titan is in my near-future. Good to have an update though, big-time thanks for the heads up Jacob.

Was wondering if/when you'd mention that, haha

HOF OC Lab are currently OOS. Decided against a Titan, I've had at least one Titan over the last 3 generations and just can't justify another one especially at nearly $4k CAD. So here I am... waiting for whichever comes into stock first, the KPE or the HOF OCL.

Me too! Everything is here but the liquid metal for the 9900k if I take the head off just to save a tiny 5c :/.

Should just say screw it and leave its head on since I cant buy the direct die shim to really drop the temps.

Next step is to secure erase the 3 drives and tear the system apart and then the fun truly begins!

Would be nice to go with the kingpin over the ftw3 but I'm not gona pay an extra $500 for it for just a 1440 ultra wide screen. If I had a 4k 144hz screen I'd be waiting.

Maybe next time I'll have one of those.

It's most likely the same pump. Gotta love that asetek junk.

Note: My bad asetek experience comes from bad experiences with the Corsair H100 and Kraken x61.

Why can’t you buy the direct die bracket? I will go ahead and tell you there is no use to delid this cpu and not do direct die I only dropped 5 to 6 degrees but when I went direct die it dropped another 7 degrees so 13 degrees total.

Why can’t you buy the direct die bracket? I will go ahead and tell you there is no use to delid this cpu and not do direct die I only dropped 5 to 6 degrees but when I went direct die it dropped another 7 degrees so 13 degrees total.

This is a Graphics Card and Not CPU Processor.

I understand this but the someone said they could get direct die for the 9900k I asked why they couldn’t

You may want to use the Quote to reference such

I tried and I must not have hit it I am on cell phone sorry

I wanted to buy two 2080 ti kingpin myself, but I've decided not to because the card only comes in hybrid & hydro copper flavors. Don't want to have to deal with junk pump issues.
