G'day Guys, Not really sure how to explain this issue but I've got a video of it occurring. Basically this has been happening ever since I got the card about a year ago but it has become more frequent. If I leave my computer on overnight I usually wake up to this, even though sleep is turned off and power settings don't allow the card to sleep. Has anyone seen this before? Edit: Alright links don't work. Basically my second screen is black and my primary screen is only working on half of it and it's beyond pixelated, only a restart fixes it.

Are you using display port cables? If yes, are they vesa certified?

G'day, I'm using the cables that came with my monitors, is there a chance they would be no good?

Yes, if the cables you're using are display port then they may not be vesa certified. You can check and see if your display port cables are vesa certified by seeing if your cables are listed in the following database... https://www.displayport.o...egory/cables-adaptors/

It looks like they may not be certified. Is this sure to fix my problem? My primary monitor is 1440p @165 and my secondary monitor is 1400p @60

Do you have your gpu set to max power in nvidia control center? If on adaptive it may be cutting out the other monitor for power savings etc...

G'day, It wasn't on adaptive but it was on optimal power mode. I've changed to max performance, hopefully this can solve the issue. Thanks for your suggestion mate.

haha sprung I guess, yeah from Australia. Thanks wmmillsm, your suggestions seems to have fixed the issue. Sometimes I have a unplug and replug my second monitor in after they have both gone to sleep but it hasn't crashed again. Cheers
