Evga x299 Micro 2, RGB headers but eleet 1.0.5 will not work or open

I tried to install and open the latest version of Eleet, 1.0.5 per evga, but it does not open. Nothing happens when I click it, thus I can't use my 2 Rgb headers. 
 
What can be done? Do I need to install something different or is there an extra step/software I am missing? I just want to control RGB on the motherboard. 
 
Where can I find the beta version of eleet? LIke 1.0.6.2 etc

    Hope they fix this, because I have the same problem.
    E296 with bios 1.10
    I9-9820X
    Radeon vii
     
    Eleet 1.0.5 for X299 installation seems to work, but will just not open/start.

    I have tried almost every version 1.03 older newer etc, all install fine, 1.0.4 and older i get the no longer supported msg, 1.0.5/1.0.6 just does not launch when opened... fresh install of windows, latest bios, all drivers installed. absolutely infuriating.

    Weak sauce. 
    Came here to figure out and fix the problem.
    Looks like there is no solution.
    I swear I need to get into the habit of reading the forums before I build a new system.
