Hey TiN, is that voltage dial box, the one that Vince said was basically a giant trim pot, is that military surplus stuff??!! It sure looks like it.   Oh, and can you convince EVGA to send the giant poster sized mobo circuit printout with every board please????

That is one of my resistance decades. Essentially it's just a box with wire-wound resistors and dials that select which resistor is used in circuit, resulting output value matching dials numbering. I have torn this box apart to show internal design and published short article on my site: https://xdevs.com/review/esi_db52/ You can buy these on ebay, units with few decades often go for small money, while serious high-end decades with 7 or 8 positions can cost multiple thousands. Top end modern variants like this one would cost you a small car :).
