These BIOS updates were added a couple weeks ago, so this is just to add them to the forums:

BIOS 1.12/1.11 Updates
  • Adds i9-9900KF/i9700KF/i5-9600KF/i3-9350KF to the CPU OC table
         134-KS-E379-KR - EVGA Z370 Classified K - v1.12
         134-KS-E377-KR - EVGA Z370 FTW - v1.112
         121-KS-E375-KR - EVGA Z370 Micro ATX - v1.11

Windows Installation
  • Download the correct .zip file above for your motherboard.
  • First go into your BIOS and load defaults, save and exit
  • Close all open programs.
  • Go into the folder where you unzipped this package and open update.bat
  • Press Y to start the flash process
  • DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS
  • After the flashing is finished, the system will automatically shut down. Then power on again and go into BIOS to setup.
  • NOTE: If flash box immediately closes after flash attempt, the flash may need to be ran from a CMD prompt with administrator privileges or DOS version.

BIOS Installation
  • Extract the contents of .zip file to USB flash drive (must be formatted as FAT32)
  • Reboot the machine and go into the system BIOS
  • From the BIOS, navigate to the Save & Exit tab and open "Select BIOS File."
  • Select the .bin file you wish to flash.

Still broken, can't boot Windows when CSM Support is disabled using the iGPU on Z370 FTW (last working version is 1.06, the version my board came with and kept the first BIOS flashed as), and only after installing Intel's graphic driver is installed in Windows 10 (1809) in BIOS versions after 1.06.
Intel's current driver is "25.20.100.6444" (DCH), and it's still broken when disabling CSM support in the BIOS in the latest versions, and only occurs directly after installing Intel's graphic driver.

Should I be pursuing Intel for this issue?

Based on disk activity, the newer BIOS versions put Windows 10 into recovery/boot repair mode but I can't even see what is happening then. I know the system has not successfully booted, and not simply an issue that my TV doesn't support a given mode, because network shares, Remote Desktop, the works, do not work.

As someone who built systems and if anyone looks inside my current ones, you only see "EVGA". I'd like an answer. EVGA PSUs, motherboards, graphics, etc, and I can't seem to be afforded a simple answer on this issue. Solicit me an actual phone call to figure out what is going on.

I went with EVGA because they were solid. EVGA motherboards aren't feature rich, but they're solid. I'm looking towards other vendors that might appreciate my money more in the future, if a simple issue as this cannot be resolved.

I do not find a Thread on your problem?
Maybe create one under EVGA Z390/Z370/H370/B360 Series and we will see what we can help you with.
This it more of an problem then just a Bios Update. Using a TV is not wise when updating a Motherboard Bios.

I'll have our team look into this for you.  I see your previous posts on this issue, and I'll also forward those, as well.  Which CPU do you have?  Is it the one listed in your sig?

So if using 8700k, no need to update? any minor changes for the existing users?

This it more of an problem then just a Bios Update. Using a TV is not wise when updating a Motherboard Bios.

There is nothing wrong nor is there much difference with using a TV to update the BIOS. I built my Dad his own HTPC/general purpose media PC and it works fine including updating the BIOS on his Samsung HDTV/PC. I built my Z370 FTW as a HTPC for compiling software through Remote Desktop and playing movies on the interactive user on my TV, that is ideal because it has audio and video output. I have eliminated variables like drivers and using different PC only monitors. BIOS updates are done solely through the TV as well.

TVs and PC monitors do react differently when connected to PCs, but this isn't the case. Computer monitors turn on and off automatically with the PC but TVs are independent. A PC hooked to a TV, the TV won't turn on automatically when the PC is powered on.

I have eliminated my TV as the source of the problem by using my other PC monitors.

"EVGATech_LeeM" has corresponded with me through PM for a Beta BIOS update (newer than made available here) for me to try and I flashed it on my second BIOS switch, and it successfully has resolved the issue with booting with Legacy CSM disabled that occurs after installing Intel's graphic driver.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. Just got my Classified K running and wanted to share something during the setup. MB was bought online and came with BIOS ver 1.07. The ver 1.07 didn't recognize my 2080ti. everything ran fine using the onboard video from the CPU. After flashing to ver 1.12, my 2080ti was recognized and now I'm full up. I thought I may have lost my video card or the motherboard video slots were bad. Anyway, I'm happy 1.12 seems to work so far for me.
