While that looks cool and all, simplicity got thrown out the window so changing or replacing a part is going to be a absolute nightmare, not to mention the unnecessary use of multi looping which jacks up the cost for really no good reason when it could have been a really nice and smooth single loop making it easier to maintain but I'm being too negative so I'll just leave it at that. lol

for that much cash I could afford a nice sedan

I wouldn't say that just because one family has higher buying power than you. To each their own but I still wouldn't buy this if I had $1 billion dollars saved up. lol I'd rather buy something like this.
