Firefox Slowed to a crawl and hangs since yesterday

Under Linux mint all desktops have been painfully slow. A scroll of the mouse wheel and 2-5 seconds later it will jump up/down the page. I tried that and it made no change. Also reset firefox, cleared cache etc. Hard to get there with the hangup I completed another x99 build monday and moved a few folding cards to it. New install of mint and even that one is seeing this. I may just use a different browser for a bit and see if others report anything. May be something local. Affiliate code E1HEL4HYPS #6
