Hi, how are you? I hope well.
Well I would like to share here the problem that I am having to solve my RMA.
I sent a 1080 TI SC2 on 01/25 and was greeted by EVGA on 04/2.
During this time, I tried to keep informed in the forum about the RMA process and which card would be sent to me.
They said that a Hydrocopper 1080 IT would be sent, I questioned the EVGA representative of my country and the PM that I had received from EVGATech_JeffP, why are they sending me a card that needs a watercooler system if I do not have one?
Even with this alert on 02/09 they sent this card.
Now on the site they have changed the submission date to 02/14.
The card arrived today 02/19 and came to hydrocopper.
I have already contacted the representative of my country, but it was very clear a great lack of communication.
I hope they help solve this problem.
Thank you for the attention of EVGA technicians.
Obs .: Follow photos of the card that was sent to me, it has a detail.
Obs²: I know that this card has more value than mine, and that is better.
I would love to stay with it, but I can not mount a system that supports it at this time.

EVGA Warranty Questions is correct for your Thread. What is the Part Number of the Card you sent in on the RMA?
 
You can put your Location using the  User Control Panel  in the Upper Right Corer.
 
You need to use the address of the .jpg file like this https://i.imgur.com/gN7tmNl.jpg to post images.
Using this https://imgur.com/a/f6JSIkB only gives a

Not a good Mark and could cause issues good thing you took a Photo.

 
You should Call EVGA in the Country you are living to help correct this.

Hi @bcavnaugh, I sent this model Part Number: 11G-P4-6593-KR.
And I received this model Part Number: 11G-P4-6599-KR.
Thanks for teaching me how to post pictures, I did not know how to do it.
I have already contacted the representative of LATAM EVGA, I am waiting for an answer.
I just did not understand how to change the location in the upper right corner, do you tell the site to stay in my language or here in the forum?
I tried to find some option in the user control panel and I did not find it.

Sorry for the delay with getting you a proper replacement you can use. There were some technical issues on our end that we got sorted out yesterday. None of the techs you were previously working with were in yesterday, so I apologize no one was able to follow up with you. We're definitely working on this for you though! A new RMA has been set up so we can get that Hydro Copper card replaced with an air cooled card for you.

I understood the situation, I already received a notification in my email about the process for this new RMA, the RMA of the RMA.
But I did not understand one thing, correct me if I'm wrong.
Am I going to have to send the card back to Brea, California?
I'll have to pay for the shipment?
Theoretically I would have paid 15% of the card value as shipping, enough to buy a GTX 1050 approximately.
I do not think it's right and I do not think it's fair to the consumer, it was not my mistake, right? I tried to alert.
I am also not here to know who is right or wrong, I just want to solve the problem, but I am not willing to pay for shipping again.
It would be an abusive expense to receive a refurbished product, which I paid a very high value in my country, said as a Premium product.
I hope you understand me.

Today the representative EVGA LATAM made contact with me, informed me the reason for the error, clarified doubts and helping me in this new stage.
I think it's all right now.
Thanks for taking my doubts in the forum, my nightmare would be to pay to return the card or have to keep a card that could not use.
