Hi!
I moved your thread to the warranty section, as your inquiry is about warranty.
EVGA has an RMA stock separate from new cards. Until the stock is depleted, EVGA will send out the same model card to replace any RMA replacement.
Once stock runs out, EVGA will take the next available card that performs the same, or better, as the 1070. If they have a 1070ti, but not a 1070, they may give you that slight upgrade.
If they don’t have any pascal cards, they may upgrade you to something like a 2060 or something that is equavilent in performance.
Keep in mind, performance is never measured by price. Folks with 980ti’s sometimes received 1070’s, because the performance was the same or better for the 1070, but they wanted to argue that the price didn’t match.. price is not a volume of measurement for performance.
