Taken from the z270 ftw k manual...
 
"The memory controller on most Skylake and Kaby Lake-S CPUs runs at a default frequency of 2133/2400MHz. Achieving memory speeds above 2400MHz+ may require manual setting of the memory timings, frequency and voltages and/or overclocking of the CPU."

Then you may need to adjust your VSA & VCCIO voltages. VCCIO & VSA voltages shouldn't exceed 1.35v.

Well there are only two possibilities left...
 
#1 Your cpu needs a small oc to reach 3000 MHz.
 
or...
 
#2 Your cpu imc is just weak and can't handle running at 3000 MHz. 

Sounds like your imc just can't handle 3000 MHz then, or when you attempted to set the ram manually you didn't do it correctly.

Set VSA 1.35.
Set VCCIO 1.35.
Set memory profiles to manual.
Set memory frequency to manual/3000.
Set DIMM Voltage to 1.35.
Set tCL to 15.
Set tRCD to 16.
Set tRP to 16.
Set tRAS to 35.
Set Command Rate (CR) to 2T.
Save and exit the bios.

Allow the Training of the Memory
Mine took about 10 minutes and 3 Reboots with 64GB of Memory using XMP Profile 1.
I have to do this with Each Bios Update.

@Sajin, finally found the solution for my problem, i saw a blog from dragonblogger about the same board and i copy those timings and it work for me, first try is 3000mhz 1.350v vsa, vccio and dimm volt. stable dropping the voltage to 1.300v stable dropping further to 1.240v stable and im currently at 3333mhz, can this ram pushed further to 3600mhz? i tried to push it to 3400mhz no luck for me.

 
With proper tweaking you may be able to push them higher.

Bent CPU Socket Pins can cause this issue.

Should fire right Up. 
 
Base of the EK block started leaking all over the place....dumped some on the board lol....wiped it up let it dry...
 
EVGA is waterproof.
 
I killed the x470 though...playing with blocks and baseplates and didn't have one seated right and it leaked ALL over it big time...stuck on DRAM Led. 
 
Might of killed the 2600x the socket got wet man....but idk gonna try to rma maybe get another board....
Everything else is fine either killed board or cpu….hopefully board....

nothing bents on the ram slot it started it after cleaning my rig. i tried my ram to my cousin and it works with dual channel and tried his ram and still don't get the dual channel. and no cpu bents i did not remove the cpu at all during cleaning my rig.

Sounds like you'll need to rma the board if one of the slots has stopped working.
 

RMA and let THEIR Warranty the BEST in the Industry Pick it up....You can try changing the BIOS chip maybe.
 
But they will give you a NEW board. They did me.
 
I'm gonna RMA the MSI X470. See where that goes. like I said it Passes the CPU LED so chip is probably FINE. Hung on DRAM.
 
And I just Amazon Primed an ASUS TUF X470. If the 2600x is not Damaged should Fire Right up.
 
FIERCE! BATTLE OF THE X470s. Personally I think ASUS is Built BETTER but just has buggy **** sometimes.
THEY HAVE THE BEST and LARGEST Chokes still in the INDUSTRY.
 
I really Wish EVGA jumped into help with AMD Boards.
 
My Ram is still good and if the chip turns out BAD see if i can get a Warranty on it from AMD.
 
Interesting Development and will follow up on that. But my 2nd FTWK is FINE.
 
 
 The Shunted waterblocked 1060TI! etc lol....that first .005 or whatever .0010 resistor IS Jumped.
Power consumption DID Report and looks like going down...it WORKS...and holding some good Clocks especially on MEMORY.

But yeah that's still FIRED UP...and Cruising at 4.7ghz at 1.24v. 7700k
 
But THAT CHIP does get LAGGY in some stuff. 
 
Honestly I think the 2600x was doing a slightly better Desktop Experience with more things and multitasking. Not Lying....

@Sajin @batboy88, i really want to rma this board but the problem is i dont have the original invoice it was i gift from my friend he bought it last december 2017 i think. i already ask him about the invoice but unfortunately he couldnt recall where he put the invoice. can somebody help me out? thanks a lot.

No proof of purchase is necessary if the product shipped from EVGA before May 25th, 2018. 

where do i ship this motherboard? i live here in Philippines.
