I'm getting the same popup message as MartianGhost every single time I boot up into windows or restart the NU software program. Everything seems to work fine but that popup message that says "spdif not found!" is wicked annoying. I have the latest drivers v0.28 which I downloaded today and it didn't fix it. I have the realtek onboard audio software uninstalled and ONLY the EVGA audio is enabled in the Device Manager. I'll also attempt to disable the onboard audio in my BIOS. I'll update this post if it fixes the issue.

Edit: Disabled onboard in bios, spdif not found message is still popping up.

It looks like maybe you renamed the S/PDIF connector?  That was MartianGhost's ultimate issue, and he did a system restore to set the names back to default, and the issue went away.

I think we're pretty sure that devices need to have their default name to be picked up by the card right now.  We plan to look into providing the ability to change names in the future, but it isn't currently supported by the drivers right now.

Edit-System restore shouldn't be necessary to resolve the issue.  MG did that just for expediency and because he couldn't remember the default name.

Oh man, I was just typing up a reply when I remembered that at some point I had disabled the SPDIF interface from the windows audio devices. I have now re-enabled it and the popup is gone. Whew!

Screenshot reminder NOT to disable the SPDIF on windows even if you are not using it.

Nice catch!  There are certainly a lot of menus where you can manage to make life hard for yourself, lol.
