I don't have to listen to the grinding/clicking noise of the fans constantly starting up every 3-5 seconds while on the Desktop anymore. Clock speed remains the same at 300-315mhz while idle. My 2080TI is idling at 50-52c which is higher than my 1080TI did but that lower temperature I assume is stopping the fans from starting up every couple seconds. Nothing else changed in my rig and the previous idle temp was 55-56c.  This is with the GPU fans off.  I dealt with the constant clicking yesterday like I have every day and then after I installed the new patch the problem went away. This is after gaming for a couple hours as well and it's warmer in my house than usual so I have to assume it's the recent patch that fixed my issues. Good luck and happy fragging!

**No more clicking/grinding noise!!!!!! :)

***Temps are down to 42c-48c on the core and VRAM. I've never seen them this low after a gaming session or if I've had the PC on all day. Nice :)

If I have a few browser windows open, along with Discord, I still get the clicking noise as it hits right up against 55c.
