I hit my 1st mil. Using a gtx 970 and a short 960 card.

I was a little dissapointed that my 32core system didnt do much yet a cheap card can do loads.

I may shut down my server and run these folds with a standard pc.

Unfortunately the BigAdvantage or BA projects are no longer around. Many of us had the 4P systems running then. I would surely suggest folding on GPU's only, it's not worth the time or cost of electric anymore.

Koo... This server was mainly for my VMware environment. 160g of ram and 32 cores came in handy for that. I still use it for that bus was folding on this machine whenever I didnt use it. This aas to save on the stress of powercycling it daily.

I have another Vmware system on a SR2 board. But I dont start that up much. bust since it is not on a server chassis, There is more room for 4 video cards.

Can someone post photos of their rigs? Someone folding with a load of gpus? I have a load of gpus laying around and would like to find out the most effecient was to use them. I have 5 780s a 980 970 960 2 480s and a 760. Just been hording these when I see them on the cheap.

Also, I see the tesla cards k10 are going for about 75$ a pop with 2 gpus and a total of 3k cuda cores. Are these worth buying? They pull the same power as a single gpu solution. 225w max. Or would this be a waste of money?

900 series & newer GPU for Folding would be best - older GPUs use much more energy & have lower PPD
