As indicated in the title, wondering about how what appears to be mostly cosmetic damage might influence my ability to RMA a second hand card in case it breaks down. Card has 1.5 yrs left on warranty. Seller is offering a good deal, and provided 3DMark Stress tests and details. Card is clearly in good working order.

Card is a 1080ti SC2 hybrid. Damage is shown to the radiator housing in picture #1 and to the GPU housing in #2.

Yes, cosmetic damage which has no relation to why a card fails can still cause the warranty to be rejected.  The dented radiator especially concerns me.  It makes it look like someone dropped/abused the product and makes it not fit for EVGA to accept and distribute as a recertified product at a later date.

'Card is clearly in good working order'  you know this how? Pretty banged up...that dent along the crimp line of the rad isn't good.  I've had GPU's for almost a decade and they are flawless.
I'd call up EVGA on the phone or send an email, only they can answer your question.

Best bet, contact evga directly through a support ticket, and include the photos to ask ahead of time.
