2080TI FTW3 Ultra Dead - RMA

Just got my new card in. Was getting better frames on full out default settings then my last two cards. Was getting really stoked, game crashes. Checked hwinfo, GPU was maxing out at 84c and memory was still at 80c after exiting the game and pulling up PX1
Really beginning to feel like I can't catch a break. Thermals on this card are 20c+ higher then I've ever seen my other two reach

Did you have time to run GPU-Z to determine what memory these cards have?
 
You may want to continue RMAing until you get a Samsung Memory Card vs Micron.

You do realize EVGA doesn’t pay shipping for multiple RMAs. If I recall he’s on his 3rd which could cost $80 a RMA.

In another post it seems he determined that only 1 fan was running at full load.. and was able to get the others running.  Sounds like it may have resolved his issue with the heat.

Yea, for whatever reason my bios wasn't kicking on fans correctly. I let evga know but I'm not worried.
This one does have Samsung memory, luckily. This is my third card so 2 rmas
Also I haven't been charged a cent for my RMAs, and they've been doing advanced RMAs for me.
Idk if it's cuz they only are 3hrs from me out because I've had my account well over a decade but they've taken really good care of me.
This is actually my first time ever having to RMA any GPU, but every one I've ever owned was through evga so, that trend will continue knowing how well they take care of things

So the temps are ok now? Are you going to try to OC?

Temps are ok now. Gonna wait to oc a while
The card does really good out of the box. Without touching anything highest I've seen is 2055, usually games at 2025-2040.-

Finally got around to checking the manufacture on my memory.. and its Samsung.  Still no issues, haven't installed PX1, or OCed it past the factory OC.  Have played many hours of games and seems like it is stable.
