Can't overclock my EVGA GTX 950 FTW ACX 2.0 past ~60MHz without Heaven Benchmark crashing.

Recently purchased a used gaming rig off of LetGo, which came with a  EVGA GTX 950 FTW ACX 2.0 installed. My CPU is an AMD Athlon x4 860k. This is my first gaming PC, so I don't know much about overclocking. When I increase my GPU Clock Offset in EVGA Precision, I can only get to about +60MHz before Heaven Benchmark starts stuttering, producing artifacts, and eventually crashing. With the same GPU, I see other people getting to +100MHz more. Any ideas? Thanks for helping a complete newb, you have gained 10 karma points.

    Welcome to the Forum
On my old GTX 950 SC I could go no higher than +40 on my card.
If you do want to OC your card you should run PXOC Version 6.2.7 and not PX1
But there is no need to OC your Graphics Card to use it and or play games.
What are the Temperatures on your Graphics Card and also your CPU?
AMD Athlon x4 860k Could be why but not saying it is.
    What Size is your PSU?
    Under what OS?
    What Video Driver Version?
What Monitor and why Type of Video Cable?

Just because others are getting +100 doesn't mean you'll get +100. That's just the game of the silicon lottery. =)

Overclocking a CPU or GPU often requires more core voltage to be applied in order to be stable..You can try increasing the GPU core voltage through the GPU voltage slider in Precision..That's about all you can do.
