Hi guys i just notice recently that when i check the Hwinfo voltages the VCCIN and +12V rail it dips down to 1.402v and 4.262v however the computer didn't shutdown. So is there something wrong with my power supply or hwinfo software needs calibration. I notice this voltage droop too on my R6E motherboard.

Software readings can be inaccurate. Check the voltages with a multimeter.

Looking at that picture your 5v stuff is low as well

Which board and what is / how old - is the power supply?

But as Sajin said you really need to test the PSU voltages real time with a meter to confirm

Yea that’s what I thought. I check the other software too like Aida64 but the voltage only drop to 11.92V which is in tolerance

EVGA X299 Dark and Rampage VI Extreme.
The power supply is 6months old and it’s EVGA 1200P2 I used to have EVGA 850W G2.
You think it’s the cablemod cable that’s causing it?

Was just looking at my voltages with HWiNFO64 - after being on for a few hours
I too am using an EVGA 1200P2

Fintek F71889A/879A readings
+12v low 10.032, 10.120 high, 10.086 average
+5v 5.213 average

Farther down where it just says "EVGA Corp. X299 Dark" it does report
+12V low of 4.263, high 12.151, average 12.112
+5v VCC low of 1.872, high 5.043, average 5.030
+5v Standby mirrors fairly closely the +5v VCC

There was no gaming, maybe some you tube videos, web browsing and PDF reading

I will work on getting some direct voltage readings this next weekend

i tried Aida64 the +12V only dip down to 11.923V while HWinfo64 voltage drops down to 4.263
