Hi all,

I have a killer x99 mobo with a Kenisis freestyle edge keyboard. This keyboard has LED back lights for every key and when I shutdown they all stay on. Is there anyway to disable the 5v on the USB ports when i shutdown so the keyboard will shutoff? I tried doing a search but everything i found was talking about windows 7...it is also possible i am blind :).

Thank you!

Mathieas

Do you not have an EU Setting in your Bios?
ErP Support” or “EUP Ready” that is.

Thank you bcavnaugh,

That did in fact work. I am in the US and I did notice that option but saw that it was for the EU and thought it was not relevant. Are there any other effects from the ERP being on i need to consider?

Nm I found this:
ErP Support determines whether to let the system consume less than 1W of power in S5 (shutdown) state. When the setting is enabled, the following four functions will become unavailable: PME Event Wake Up, Power On By Mouse, Power On By Keyboard, and Wake On LAN.
