I have a ASrock Taichi MB with a 1700X processer and 2 sticks of EVGA 8GX-D$-3000MR DDR4 Memory. Up until BIOS release 5.10 the memory using the XMP profile ran at 2933 MHz. The latest BIOS shows the XMP Profile at 3000MHz. I was elated that finally the BiOS was handling the memory correctly. That was short lived, Windows blue screened immediately. I set the XMP back to 2933 MHz and the system is stable again. I know the Ryzen processor is very picky about memory - I have a set of G.Skill FlareX 3200 and it has no issues well beyond 3200 MHz - so my question is: is there anything I can do with the EVGA memory like giving the SK Hynix chips more voltage >1.35 to make it stable at 3000MHz? Just curious, I know there is little difference between 2933MHz and 3000MHz but... I've never had a system that blue screened as soon as I enable the XMP settings!
