Hi guys do i need to connect 6-pin PCIe power connector dont know do i need or not my config are as follows
Intel Core i9-7960x oc 4 ghz
custom water loop
Corsair Vengence DDR 4 3000 mhz32 GIG
ZOTAC GTX 1080 TI AMP EXTREME IN SLI
Samsung 970 Pro NVME
Kingspec 1 TB NVME
Thosiba Q300s 1 TB
WD Black 2TB
Seagate SSHD 2TB

    The one on the bottom left of the motherboard? No, it is meant as supplemental power if you have 3 or 4 GPU’s

    I look at it this way.  If I have the plug option on the board, and if I have the power cable needed, then I plug it in.  You may not need it for two GPU's, but if you have eveything you need to use it, why not...?

    Run your system through Power Supply Calculator - PSU Calculator | OuterVision
    You will probably need 1200w + if you are pushing the system benchmarking
     As to your question, I would connect it if you have the cables to do so - VGA/PCIe
     
    Just playing GTAV online last night my OC'd single 1080ti FTW3 (watercooled) pulled over 300w on a few sceens (fairly big explosions). I know that the loads will be split and any 1 single card might not pull as hard as a single card..
    I did not look to see what the CPU was pulling (7940x @ 4.8 all cores)
    I use an EVGA 1200P2
