Hey there.

I know this is a longshot, but i just bought a EVGA 980ti second hand. After installing it and turning on i get no post, but instead there's a small fire from the GPU and the system then shuts down. Now know RMA is a longshot since have no reciept, and the guy i bought it from says it was working fine when he sold it. :-/
Would it be possible to send it to you for repair? Or is it just money down the drain.
Merry christmas to all of you.

2nd hand cards do carry the warranty over to the new owner for 3 years after it left EVGA warehouse.
Did you call or email EVGA support with the serial # and see if it is under warranty?
If not I would call and see if it is still covered, can't hurt. There was a date that if it was sent before you do not need a bill of sale.

I doubt EVGA will repair a burnt up card.

Unfortunately EVGA does Not offer a "Repair Service" - for hardware that is out of Warranty

The situation has been resolved. Thanks for all the input. The card was with previous defect.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to delete the post.
    Best regards.
