Got my replacement and set it up a few days ago and I have started getting artifacts for the past day! bf5 crashes after launching, artifacts in rainbow six siege, artifacts in heaven benchmark!.
I disappointing at the fact it came in a flimsy packaged box with a anti static pink bubble wrap, I didn't receive my old original box, which looked more safe and secure than a little cardboard box. I have just wasted £15 on postage to get a faulty card for a replacement!.

I have rolled back on drivers, done clean install of windows ect. Am I really going to have to waste another £15 for postage or can I get a cross shipment replacement? it's not the perfect timing with Christmas coming up.

If it is doing the exact same thing as your other GPU, you might consider other components. How old is your PSU?

4 years now I think, it can't be the psu surely? the other gpu works fine in this rig.

What other gpu? If the other gpu uses less power than a 1070 it could definitely be the psu.

got a 960 here which only uses like 50 watts less, it isn't a massive difference, I have also tried the 1070 in the other rig I have and it's doing the exact same, it's bad memory I think.

Try underclocking the memory to see if the issue stops. If it does, then you know exactly what is wrong with it.

I'd recommend that you underclock it by at least 250 MHz.

It sucks that you've got a bad one back. It does happen, and you're just very unlucky that you got a DOA card. The next one will be good, fella.

Well, if it is artifacting on two systems then I would RMA again. Bummer, but I'd have EVGA foot the bill this time with a prepaid return shipping label. That's the least they can do.

Thank you, it's fine I'd rather just pay for postage so you will get it next day before 1pm. It's just a pain!. Hopefully this next gpu will be trouble free. I will get this sent tomorrow if the RMA is approved quick.

All replacements are re-certified replacements meaning that we have tested them in our warehouse.

Had the same thing recently with my 1080ti FTW3. Died completely at 5 months old; got a replacement via RMA. Replacement gave me constant driver crashes and micro freezes. RMA'd again to supplier who said there was nothing wrong with it. Spent $900-$1000 replacing mobo, CPU, and PSU. Sent it back and insisted the supplier send it to EVGA. It's now been replaced again...Hoping this one works...

unfortunately your re-certification is clearly underwhelming in its scope, faulty refurbs are becoming a common theme.

That's a joke! I really hope this doesn't happen to me, you don't expect gpu's to just die after 2 years of medium use. They had all that fiasco with vram burning out due to no thermal pads ect, they shouldn't be sending the same ones out as a replacement imo. They should be sending the new refreshed models to us. I can remember customers were sent out thermal pads and thermal paste to do the jobs themselves at home, I was one of them.

It was working a treat for just over 2 years and boom, fans ramped up to 100%, black screen and it wouldn't work after that at all.

Yeah I agree dude, we could be getting refurbished mining cards that were running 24/7 for months on end, it's a joke. I expected a brand new card for a replacement. I can't see me hanging around evga once this 10 year warranty is up!. 10 year warranty is nice and all but to be getting refurbish cards for replacements isn't the best.

I bought in to the 10 year warranty because they have amazing customer support and I know rma's will get dealt with fast and proper but I'm starting to regret it since I got given a faulty replacement straight off the bat. Their quality control doesn't seem all that great tbh.
