Evga G3 1000W super loud

Hi,

I just bought a new G3 1000w to replace My evga G3 750w (which i was super Happy with and thats why went with g3 1000w in the first place) And noticed that the fan is super loud. I don't recall ever even hearing the fan on G3 750W and i had it on normal mode not eco, but now the G3 1000w sounds like it is at 100% fan at all times and If I switch to eco mode it gets silent when pc is at idle, but as soon as I start gaming etc. It goes straight to 100%. I don't think that it is operating at such high levels that it should be doing that.

Here's My setup:
- i7-9700K
-aorus master z390
-gtx 1070
-kraken x72

Is there anything to try with it?

    Thank you for posting and welcome! The 1000w G3 is the same size and uses the same fan as the 750w G3, so I can only recommend a RMA to get the unit replaced at this point. Register the unit to your EVGA.com account and get in touch with us at support@evga.com or 1 (888) 880-3842 and we'll get you promptly sorted.

    Thanks for the reply! Already registered the unit, but I'm gonna try to get replacemet from the seller first (Finnish consumer law and so on), propably faster that way.
    I'll contact support if that doesn't work.
