hi same issue with me aswell, installed the last version on my windows 10 pro with the last update the program is installed but don't work

I've been having same issue with Win 7 x64 since October and tried every version of Precision x1 all Instructions but no success on 2080 Ti XC Ultra, and FTW3 and after all this time finally I got a response from EVGA. also Contacted NVidia for other issue on missing drivers for Hardware USB-C Drivers and some PCI device.
 
MB: Asus P9X79 WS CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K
the Video card is missing Drivers
PCI DEVICE:                                          PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AD7&SUBSYS_24873842&REV_A1
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AD6&SUBSYS_24873842&REV_A1

There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

Also have experienced Boot with no VIDEO on the FTW3, even though windows would load. A power cycle would Fix it.

This is Ray customer service supervisor for EVGA. We received your feedback about the issues you are having with Precision X1. The issue that you are having has to do with support in Windows 7. That software does not support Windows 7 and it is unlikely that it ever will. The software is made with Windows 10 in mind as the RTX ray-tracing features require DX12 (only supported in Windows 10) to work correctly.
We expect you to have the errors that you are having when using that operating system. That said, the card can be used with Nvidia’s Win 7 drivers and the card will work as expected, but PX1 will not.

This is getting ridiculous, i've practically told EVGA Developers how to rectify this.
 
It's an absolute (removed) lie that it was developed for 10 as the Assembly that it is failing on was provided to 8.0, its a simple fix i could do it i under 5 minutes myself.
 
EVGA, your developers are LIARS.
 
Guys, i will make a fix for this over the next week or so, if the evga half rate hacks aren't going to make a simple non-consequential change to the base aero assembly in use, i'll just provide you a way to install the one needed.
 
And done

setup is unsigned, files installed are all microsoft signed.

finally got Precision X1 started for the First Time WOW 3 Months and fix released not by EVGA but Hurray its working.
 
No way EVGA a BIG DISAPOINTMENT from Support on this issue. 
 
PS: Now a days there aren't many well informed and knowledgeable techs, just change the part or go to different operating system, reinstall software is not a fix to a problem with software

On WIndows 10 is stucked on blue color,cannot change anything.Reinstalled x1 2 times and stil same,failed firmware.

I have the same problem with PX1 on Windows 7 64 bit, all I get when I run the program is a hourglass for one second then there is a message stating that the program stopped working and windows is sending a report to Microsoft for them to look at. I've tried all versions down to 0.2.5 and no of them are working on my system. I have a EVGA 2070 gaming GPU.


Same here i dont get anything just see it pop on up on task manager.
 
windows 7 64 i did the version back in late November i believe and just tried it with the new one yesterday
i7 3770
16 gb ram adata
rtx2070 xc ultra
os on ssd Samsung 840pro i believe

Just tried installing your Aero2 file and still no joy. This is on a clean win7 ultimate install. Weird thing is it did work, b4 I clean installed my OS this weekend. Any thoughts mate?

You need the rest of the dotnet 4.7 package, 7 comes with 3.0 by default only.

Unfortunately that also did not solve the problem, I appreciate you trying to help though, just so frustrated with a  companies software developed to work with their product not being able to be even opened, and its not like Im trying to use it in an odd fashion, simply using the installer they wrote, on a platform its supposed to be designed to work with, I hate to sound like Im ****ing but this is something that shouldn't involve anymore effort to make work than simply running the installer. Ive had the card 3 weeks now and still cant even make the "supported" software open

Also for what its worth both that fix you linked to and the one above both link to WIN 7 fixes, not 10, although I followed the instructions in the link anyways to check the WinRing0_1_2_0 folder

GOT IT, Im running a Alienware Laptop and then using the Alienware Graphics Amp with an upgrade PSU to run the 2080 TI, I had to go into device manager and actually disable the integrated 1070 card so the system ONLY sees the 2080 Ti, fired right up after I did that.
