I constantly have a spam ip from say bestgiveaways.ooo when I am on the avsforums that makes a pop up come up that takes tou to a spam site..
 
I have cleared saved data from settings, updated the ios, if I use vpn I do not get the spam, if I use my own il address I get the spam back
 
I dont know what to do besides reformat my ipad

    look into setting up a pi-hole with a raspberry pi on your network - nukes all kinds of things

    Malwarebytes for iOS compatibility with iPad and iPod Touch devices
     
    I use the paid version - there is a free version  Good product
     
    I do not use iPad ... so not sure if it will kill the malware stuff for you

    I would like to known if the software works for you, I had that annoying Amazon winner popup until I reset the iPad.

    Have you tried using brave browser? I use it on my iphone and don't get popups/redirects

    I agree on retting your iPad. It will also make your machine fast again.
