Collateral RMA Refund Length of Time

Hello. I received an email on November 30th that my collateral refund that I provided for my standard cross-ship RMA has been approved. Does it normally take this long to get the charge refunded? It it still on my account.

    Hi CSPlayer089,

    It takes about 4-7 business days for the collateral refund to appear in your credit card/debit card statement, some banks are slower to process refund transactions. I did review your RMA info and everything looks good and the refund was indeed processed in 11/30.

    Hi again, quick update here. The charges have still not dropped off of my CC statement. Tomorrow will be business day #10. I'm hoping that it's gone tomorrow, otherwise I will have to call my bank and see what is up. I'm using Chase, fwiw.

    Unfortunately not. I checked my account Friday morning and the charge was still there. I will check again tomorrow morning (Monday) and will give Chase a call at that point if it it still there. I still have the confirmation email from EVGA that the refund has been processed. Not sure what the hold up is at this point.

    Charge is still present on the account. Unfortunately wasn't able to call this morning before work. Will check it tomorrow morning. 
     
    The payment on this particular credit card that I used for collateral is due on the 27th. I'll be upset if the charge isn't removed by then and the bank decides to charge me interest on something that should have been refunded at this point. I'm not blaming EVGA for this, it is most likely my bank that is holding this up.

    I contacted EVGA Customer Service on 12/17, questioning again why the refund has still not posted. They advised me to wait 2 additional business days and contact them again. Ok sure, what is another two days I've already waited nearly 3 weeks (15 business days). Checked my statement again on 12/19, and the charge was unfortunately still there. Reached back out to EVGA CS and someone replied and said:
     
    Hello,

    Looks like the refund was processed today:

    Refund Transaction(s):
    Date: 12/19/2018 - Amt: $1,249.99

    Let us know if you have any questions and we will be happy to help.

    Ok great, maybe some progress finally. So i waited again until the following morning, 12/20, and of course, it still has not been removed.
     
    It has also not been removed this morning (12/21), either. It has now been 21 days since originally receiving the email stating the refund has been approved and is being processed (~15 business days)
     
    Because of all this, I have opened a dispute with Chase to get this resolved, for my protection. It is coming very close to the point of being charged interest on the amount, and to me that is unacceptable.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. The refund has been submit and processed. I am going to call you in an attempt to go over this with you over the phone.

    same problem here.
    it's been over a month since I'm waiting for the refund.


    I will reach out to our EU team to look into this further. The refund should have been sent by us already.
