Sound like you over Overclocked, Turn off the PSU and Cut Power to the Motherboard. As you Power On Press and Hold the Small Red Button for 5 Seconds and then release.

Tried bios 1/bios 2/bios 3 and none of them allow me to power up the board. The green power button is on but it won’t respond when pressed. I’m so bummed out, the board only arrive this morning and now it’s dead.

I haven’t Overclocked at all yet. First thing I did when I switched this board on was flash the bios to 1.12 and the flash went fine. The computer rebooted a few times then I was back into the bios.
I was having trouble getting the board to see both of my identical Samsung nvme drives as M2’s. One is in the PM1 slot and the other is in the PM2 slot. The one in PM1 was seen in the VROC menu while the one in the PM2 slot was only showing up in the Intel RSTE menu.
So I figured I’d messed up my settings somewhere but couldn’t fathom which one. I thought it best to reset the CMOS and start over. So I powered down the PC, switched off the PSU and held the reset CMOS button for 5 secs.
Now the board won’t power up at all. I’ve tried flipping the BIOS switch but neither of the other 2 BIOS will boot either.

The Red Button does the same. But you need to remove the Cover on the M.2 to replace the Battery Powering off the PSU and then on Power On and Holding the Red Button Did Not Work? "I was having trouble getting the board to see both of my identical Samsung nvme drives as M2’s" Maybe one is not installed correctly. Remove Both and see if you can Post as you have to remove the Cover anyway to remove the Battery. " The computer rebooted a few times then I was back into the bios." Mine did this 4 Times and tool 6 minutes to complete the Memory Training after a Bios Update.

Nope. The board is bricked.

As bvanaugh said, remove power to the PSU, hold down the power button till all the lights go off on the board then reconnect the power. I had to do this once when I was messing with a bunch of stuff. Thought I broken something I may have even walked away for a few minutes and got something to drink while the power was unplugged

Ugh... that was gruelling. I had to take the mobo out of the chassis, unclip everything then take the active cooler shroud off to get the bios battery out. I left it out for 11 mins then put everything back together. I am now finally powered on and back in the bios screen :)

As a precaution if you have the board torn that far down again either check or flat out replace the battery. There has been a problem with random bad CMOS batteries. But generally that shows up as not being able to have persistent settings

If you take the 3 screws out and remove the shroud covering the m2 sockets, the battery is still not visible. U have to unscrew 4 screws on the back of the motherboard to get the bottom black strip out of the way so you can get to the battery. Or at least I had to anyway.

I must be getting Old But yes I recall this now with my second MB. The back ones under the Fan and a slight upward give access to the Battery. A Big pain when on a Custom SLI Water Loop.

Luckily you got it fixed. I agree I would be replacing the battery just in case but on the bright side it probably will be the only time you have to do it.

Just had to replace it after 0 years. It was indeed dead. I booted up this morning and got Checksum error and the mobo clock had reset itself (biggest giveaway). Well I've just picked a new one up at work so i'll install it when I get home.

I did indeed my friend. Soon sa I replaced the BIOS battery with a new one, the settings held and the internal clock is no longer resetting itself after every boot. Good to go.
