On December 6th Star Control: Origins will receive a free DLC called "Reinforcements," adding a dozen new ships to the Fleet Battles, all of which are pilotable. This DLC will almost double the number of ships available within the mode, increasing combat variety, with these ships being available to other players online and computer-controlled opponents. it showcases Stardock's commitment to their games after launch, providing worthy DLC content without the need for additional payment from players. In the future, it is likely that we will see more free updates like this, as well as support for the newer Vulkan API and HDR support. Good to see these kind of updates to keep the gaming community happy with the game.
