Will Corsair memory model CMU32GX4M4C3000C15B run on the DARK X299 or X299 FTWK? Is this memory listed on EVGA's QVL? Is it compatible with both motherboards?

Check the QVL Lists here - https://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/

I checked the EVGA QVL and from what I can see. There is no support for either motherboards. What motherboard supports this type of memory? I'm so confused?

Corsair and their lame compatibility / spec listings. They make you grab a PDF for everything and the one for their memory is formatted horribly
Go here, scroll to down loads lower on the page (next to tech specs) and download the PDF - look to see what they have tested their memory on

This is why Corsair has fallen off my list of good stuff - they seem to be off in lala land

I went through their site in the menus to find the matching Recommend X299 Blue LED set of memory - CMU32GX4M4D3000C16B
Slight difference in part number the OP listed
This is from the Tech Specs listing -

    Compatibility
    Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series,Intel X99,Intel X299,AMD 300 Series, AMD 400 Series

The Tested board PDF is the exact same one I found for the other kit - THEY ONLY LIST X99 and some Z170 boards - not a single AMD board was listed as tested in the group quoted and nope, not a single X299 board nor most of the others

Well that's what I get talking to an MSI tech support rep prior to the purchase of the X299 They said the memory was on their QVL. Which I'm running this memory on the motherboard now. It has not hurt the motherboard other then sometimes the bios fails to overclock due to the memory issues and has to be reset down clocking the memory speed. Your exactly right! All I see that the memory I'm using is for X99 and Z series motherboards. So here's what I'm looking for. QUAD Channel DDR4 3600MHZ 32GB Kit with cool blue LED or RGB that offers a blue color scheme. What is a better option and price point beside Corsair? I'm ready to try another good brand recommendation. My motherboard is an MSI Gaming Pro Carbon X299 standard. Not the AC version. MSI QVL: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X299-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#support-mem-3 My processor is an Intel i9 7900X 10-Core.

They have the QVL right there on the product page and your board is listed

    3200 speed - https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14q-32gtzr

The only kits they have listed quad channel for 3600 is 64gb and 128gb which seems to be a bit crazy

This is the kit I used on my X299 Dark - https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3866c18q-32gtzr

The issue is the bumping up the speed you have to loosen the timings

But after so much pain in looking I want to double check with you again.
And if so this should be a quad channel memory configuration?

And if so will this be quad channel memory configuration versus the two stick setup dual channel?

Yup, that is this kit - https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3600c16q-32gtzr   it is an 16-16-16-36 kit

I edit my post above - watch the Buildzoide videos, hopefully it doesn't make your head explode

Just because the memory isn't listed on the qvl doesn't mean it won't work.

It won't work for very long at the clock speeds of 3000MHz without resetting the bios back to default every couple of days. Press F1 to enter the bios. Sets it's self back to default. The bios says failed to overclock. So I think this will fix the problem getting VQL preferred memory. I can sell off the current memory to recover some costs.

You may be able to fix that by tweaking voltages.

I'm up for suggestions. I haven't clicked the order button yet. Also MSI said they couldn't duplicate the problem other than the memory is not on their qvl. What settings in the bios interphase should I be adjusting and to what level? There is an option for XMP profile to be enabled. Not too sure about the voltage but I definitely could learn if you would please explain and perhaps provide a screenshot or better yet I could provide the screenshots of the BIOS voltage controls so we can tweak to see if it fixes the problem.

Try setting your vsa & vccio voltages to 1.2v.

Do I leave XMP Profile enabled also? I need to know the little things in addition to the voltage adjustments. I might need to send you a screenshot of this Bios. I do not see what you refer to as VSA & VICCIO settings.

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/memoryfinder?type=motherboard Shows No EVGA X299 Support.
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/memoryfinder?type=memorytype By Memory Type and Chipset.
But I use Corsair memory not listed on EVGA https://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/
You just will have to test it.
    Using DOMINATOR Platinum 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600 CMD32GX4M4B3600C16 on my X299 FTW K MB

Try both methods of setting the ram if the other causes issues, so set your ram manually if xmp causes issues.

Note: X299 dark bios picture above. Both VSA & VCCIO are shown.

My understating of the XMP Profile and on the X299 Dark & X299 FTW you need Two DIMMS to work.

FYI update: I pulled the trigger and purchased the G.SKILL Trident Z RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 256) It's the best decision I have made. Now I have no issues with the bios resetting back to default. My prior memory was not on MSI's VQL list or said memory was not tested from MSI. I also have better video playback. For
some odd reason with the previous memory I was having video encoding problems with pixels. I think the overall memory used prior was causing glitches here and there with certain software and apps. Now all I need to do is upgrade my monitor. I hope NVIDIA fixes the issues with their drivers and g-sync.
