Yes, self-aggrandizing threads will always come back sooner or later, unfortunately.

Hum, maybe I need to make a thread about people that have made enough post that they qualify to pick thier own member title name?

Several other forums actually do that, not a bad idea.

I forget for a while, then come back for a while, rinse repeat. RTX got me back to lurking. Mostly because maybe I can find a deal on a 1060 or 1070. I can't afford a full rebuild at the moment.
Also, just posting to see if I remember when my joined year (I think 2001).
Edit: off by 1 year.

I personally wouldn't vouch for me me being old school but I've been here for about 8 years.

You might want to look at the Joined date in your own post. You joined 11 years ago, not 8. You are old. lol

But MIA for parts totaling 3 years. It's all good

I shall name myself....the gamer pwner

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

Who can blame you for that. Outside the same old spam topics, general discussion is dead. We don't have the discussions like we use to on here.

Good to see ya man!

Ha! I still have two of those running. One is at work and is used daily and the other is a server with a bunch of old hard drives that store old stuff. Kicker is, I still have a lifetime warranty on those. Wonder if they ever die if EVGA will accept the trade up.

Good to see familiar faces. Sometime soon Ill get the new z390 dark motherboard......if EVGA ever can release it. I have quite a few evga bucks ive never spent. They will almost pay for it. But same story as back in the day. Announce a motherboard and we wait months before they release it. Guess they are still trying to be competitive, but with what!

Coming up on 10 years, but I was never really that active in the forums here but I still do lurk occasionally. I was much more active when I was building/upgrading computers more often than I am these days. Now it's about every 2 years or so..., my last computer I kept for 3 years. I use to see what was happening in this forum and would chime in from time to time, but not often enough to be considered regular.
