Today I received a 2080Ti XC Ultra from B&H and immediately installed it with latest drivers. It's replacing a Titan Xp and I got the usual ~20% fps performance increase in benchmarks. The temps range from 40C-72C and it's much quieter than the TitanXp. Image quality is slightly better than my previous card using the same (416.94) drivers. I anticipated buyers remorse but that's not going to happen so overall I'm pleased with my upgrade. I don't OC and it's boosting to 1935 on it's own.  I don't install Precision or other software, just let the card and it's bios do it's stuff so I'll keep my fingers crossed and let her rip for years to come, hopefully.

ps.... to EVGA et al... I truly appreciate the XC Ultra's cooler....it works!

Thanks B.C.! With the hardware and drivers installed I'm just waiting for Hitman2 to be released on disc so I can try RayTracing. Ought to be OK @ 1440p since I play only single player slow moving stealth type games.

Update ... of sorts... One month in and temps, performance, etc are consistent with the numbers in the original post. Smooth sailing so far!

It's good to hear that everything runs smoothly and there are no problems like many other users have.
I still can not decide whether to order now or wait a little longer until prices calm down and stabilize. My old 1080 FTW running without any issues.

Glad to hear you like the card and have no regrets in picking it up. I also like that you mention the noise and temps since a lot of the time people just talk about benchmarks without really talking about the how noise plays a part in enjoyment of a card.

Four months in and all is still well. Boosting to 1950 with max temp @ 73C. It wasn't a big upgrade from the Titan Xp but I'm still pleased with my decision to go for it.

edit to add ... For the conspiracy theorists ... it has Micron memory!

I bought the EVGA Extended Warranty as I plan to keep My Cards well past 3 yr

No idea if I'll use it for 10yrs, but just a couple of bucks more than 5yr ... So ..... 10 yr plan

Got my EVGA 208ti XC Ultra about same time as op, and I have to say  I'm very pleased with it. I was skeptic coming from blower type cards I've always used as my 1080ti was, same as op this boosts to 1950 with

max temp of 71c out of the box settings(per gpu-z max airflow only hitting 60%). Love the looks of the card, especially the wider cooler, just makes full tower case look better and keeps card cooled. Eager to see

what it will do overclocked and put a custom fan setting for even better cooling but just don't wanna try precision while in beta. Definitely no regrets on purchase and I also purchased the extended warranty as I have

    done with all EVGA cards.

6 month update (and final unless some significant change occurs)...
Using the latest drivers (430.64) I've seen no real changes in performance or temps since the day I installed the 2080Ti XC Ultra.

caveat ... I run all hardware at out of box specs, no OC's, no fan curves, no Precision X, etc. ... I'm strictly plug and play.
